Commitment and Care

This group of individuals is responsible for the crucial, continuous work that happens behind the scenes. Their work is often challenging, yet they approach every task with professionalism, empathy, and unwavering commitment.

Their daily responsibilities include:

• Direct Animal Care: Providing nutritious food and fresh water and administering prescribed medications. They are the first to notice a change in an animal’s behavior and alert the medical team.
• A Sanctuary of Cleanliness: Maintaining hygiene and sanitation is paramount. General Workers tirelessly clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas multiple times a day to ensure a safe, disease-free environment for all residents.
• Comfort and Socialization: Offering comfort, gentle handling, and much-needed socialization to animals that may have been neglected or abused. They spend countless hours helping fearful animals learn to trust people again.
• Facility Operations: Assisting with laundry, stocking supplies, and preparing areas for new arrivals, keeping the entire rescue running smoothly and efficiently.
